  • How & Where to Use Your Card

  • The card can be used to purchase items sold in any of the following Loblaw grocery stores: Loblaws, Atlantic Superstore, Bloor Street Market, Cash & Carry, Club Entrepôt, Dominion (in Newfoundland & Labrador), Extra Foods, Fortinos, Independent City Market, Loblaws City Market, Maxi, Maxi & Cie, No Frills, Presto, Provigo, Provigo Le Marché, Real Canadian Superstore, Real Canadian Wholesale Club, Valu-mart, Wholesale Club, Your Independent Grocer and Zehrs.

If there are problems at the point of sale, please call Customer Service at 1-866-217-9470 for assistance.
  • Visit the Transaction History page to see your balance.
  • The card can only be swiped for the current balance or less. If your purchase amount is more than the balance on the card, see Split Tender Transaction below.
  • When making a purchase, select credit, not debit, and sign the receipt.
  • If you do not have enough funds available on your card to cover the full transaction amount, you may request the Loblaw grocery store to conduct a split tender transaction, which is where you use the card as partial payment for goods and services and then pay the remainder of the amount with another form of payment (e.g. cash, credit, or debit). If you fail to inform the Loblaw grocery store that you would like to perform a split-tender transaction prior to swiping your card, your transaction may be declined.
  • Your right to use the funds loaded onto the card never expires. However, the card itself will cease to work after the 'Plastic Valid Thru' date printed on the back. If funds remain on your card after the 'Plastic Valid Thru' date, you can request those funds free of charge, at any time after the card ceases to work, at any Loblaw grocery store or by letter or email. The mailing and email addresses to which your request for the remaining Balance on your Card may be sent will be published at www.LoblawCardServices.ca at least six (6) months in advance of the 'Plastic Valid Thru' date. Please include your card number in your request by mail or email.
  • No, the card is not redeemable for cash, and may not be used to make cash withdrawals at ATMs or otherwise.
  • Make a record of the card number, security code and Cardholder Services number (1-866-217-9470). Store separately from the card. You will need this information if the card is lost or stolen.
  • Most common decline reasons
    1. Card was not used at a Loblaw grocery store.
    2. Card was swiped for more than the card balance and you did not indicate that it was a Split Tender Transaction.
    3. Card was not activated before use.
    4. Card was swiped as debit rather than credit transaction.
